River in Sigi Village Dries Up, Water Crisis Looms
The river in Sigi Village, Kahayan Tengah Subdistrict, Pulang Pisau Regency, appeared to have turned into dry, grassy land due to a severe drought on Saturday (October 24, 2026). For approximately four months, the riverbed has been dry, forcing residents to beach their boats. This situation could trigger a clean water crisis and pose a threat to public health.
